A native of Detroit, BLUE’s Grand Rapids-based “Undercurrents” columnist is an award-winning journalist and lifelong outdoor enthusiast. His works appear in a variety of publications including MLive Media Group newspapers and his blog, The Outdoor Journal (howardmeyerson.com).
