Herbed Cheese Spread with Cucumber & Dill
1 8-ounce package softened cream cheese
1 0.6-ounce package Good Seasons Zesty Italian Salad Dressing Mix (or any dry Italian dressing mix)
¼ cup mayonnaise
1 English cucumber, peeled & sliced thin
Dried dill, for garnish
Petite toast or crackers
Mix cream cheese, Italian dry mix and mayonnaise with a whisk or electric mixer. Spread on small toast or crackers. Top with a cucumber slice and garnish with a sprinkle of dried dill.
Pairing: Brys Estate 2011 Pinot Grigio. About the wine: This Pinot Grigio is made in the classic Italian style. It is stainless steel fermented producing a clean and fresh wine, with well-balanced fruit flavors of lemon, orange peel and tangerine. Pair this dry white wine with seafood or chicken dishes with lemon zest.
Roasted salted cashews
Curry powder (about 1 teaspoon per 10 ounces of nuts)
In a small bowl, sprinkle cashews with curry powder to taste.

White Cheddar with Walnuts & Honey
Sharp white cheddar cheese
Toasted walnuts, finely chopped
Cut the white cheddar cheese into ½-inch cubes. Insert toothpicks, sprinkle with walnuts. and drizzle with honey.
Pairing: Brys Estate 2011 Riesling. About the wine: This well-balanced Riesling shows beautiful pear, peach and apricot aromatics. The mid-palate shows an array of stone fruits and is soft and viscous with slight citrus tones on the finish.
