Publishing & Sales Internship – Grand Rapids, MI (paid)

Job Description: Hour Media, the publisher of the Grand Rapids Business Journal, Grand Rapids Magazine, Michigan Blue Magazine and more, is proud to offer a sales and advertising internship for the Winter 2019/Spring/Summer 2020 term. Ideal candidates will work a minimum of 20 hours per-week. Schedules are negotiable, but a three-month commitment is required. Interns must be enrolled in a university, however the intern does not have to be receiving credit to be eligible for the position.

Interns will assist the advertising director and the office manager in day-to-day departmental functions including: prospecting potential clients, updating and managing Hour Media’s database, tracking sales and surveying results, working closely with account executives, assisting with events put on by Hour Media and more.

Requirements: Qualified students will have a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Hour Media offers its interns substantial projects and significant opportunity for skill-development. We are looking for hard-working individuals who enjoy a fast-paced environment and are willing to take on new tasks. Professionalism and responsibility are a must.
