Upon entering the home, guests walk into a two-story, barrel vaulted room that terminates in a curved wall, “really opening up that water-front view,” Visbeen said. “The right side of the home is all public. A very large dining room and kitchen — featuring a big pizza oven, prep counter with window, walk-in pantry and huge central island — offer a view through a small corridor with wet bar connecting to the angled hearth room. That corridor also opens to the outdoor deck, for easy entertaining.”

A hallway leading left off the foyer opens into a hexagonal-shaped gallery; this space flows into the very private, lake-facing master suite, and at the home’s opposite corner, a full bath and the extended guest room.

One of the home’s most distinctive highlights is the expanded L-shaped staircase. Opening to the lower level and topped by a pergola-inspired canopy, the staircase lends architectural character right off the foyer.
